How young is too young to take to an Avett Brothers show?

Postby Nydrew34 » Thu Nov 08, 2018 1:14 am

So my daughter loves the Avett Brothers music (as do I)... and as a birthday/Christmas gift, I bought us tickets to the New Years show. For us, we have a special bond over this music and I’m proud to take her to see them live! We have seats, and yes I would bring ear plugs. However, When I mention the show to folks.. it seems to spark up a debate as to how old someone should be to attend.
She’ll be 8 at Christmas..so i ask...what are your thoughts?

It goes until after 1 am; 8 seems too young to me. Even with seats, it's a pretty rowdy environment.

I used noise cancelling headphones for my two boys. My older son is more sensitive to loud sounds. Their first show was Kalamazoo and that is quite a different scene than a New Years show as I understand.
