Seth's letter

Postby jmgolat » Mon Mar 14, 2016 4:49 pm

Would anyone like to discuss Seth's letter? Most of it made me choke up, but "Our music was okay" made me giggle.

I teared up. There's normally a huge division between fan and band. I don't feel this with them. It's crazy to feel like we're all one big group on the journey together.

Here's what my thoughts were:

I love this band. I love who they are and what they stand for. Ultimately people change and grow- that's life. Some bands get some crap for changing their sound. I love the ride they've taken us on through the years and the fact that there's an explanation of where they stand as musicians and where they are in life currently just shows the connection and responsibly felt to their fans. I know the music industry is fluff to many. A lot of people don't understand or just think it's some obsession. Music has always been the driving force for me. You either get it or you don't. I feel lucky to have met others who I can call friends who get it- people I've met through the years, through the music. I'm pretty excited to see what this year brings- musically and otherwise.

I'm personally blown away by the honesty.
Sure, we as fans are here because we
Connect with the honesty in their lyrics
And music.
However, To publicly write us shows true sincerity on their part in another way altogether.

For those not in tune, are there more recent
Detailed Developments/happenings that have
Occurred??

And, when I read the description of
The album, my immediate thoughts were
Holy Sh*t, this could be their craziest
Album yet (which excites me).

On more of a joking note, I'm not thinking
The summer tour will be called
The True Sadness Tour.
Their honesty in the album title conveys
How real this band is!!!

Sounds like the brothers have had a falling out
But, again, the only thing I'm sure of is
That this album can't come soon enough!
