Thank you! I've checked by buses after shows, but have had no luck. I'll keep trying.

PS - Great profile name & picture!

I don't think you will see them too much *after* shows, unless you get there before the show ends, and even then, not very likely.

Best to go either before or after sound check--think along the lines of around 2:00-4:00PM for an 8:00PM show,

Was considering going by the buses Friday
At red rocks before/after sound check time.
Normally have no desire for such things but
These guys made me believe in music again.

I have sadly not met Seth or Scott, but Scott did reply to me on Twitter once, and I got a hand grab in Chicago. I've definitely met Paul and Mike multiple times, and I met Tania in Chicago as well.

Met these beauties in Ottawa, On Canada in Sept 2015. There was a contest for a meet n greet and I was one of the lucky winners.

I had a dear friend pass away in a car accident in 2001. Being musicians my brothers and I played his favorite song for him at his funeral (Don't Follow by Mad Season). We all went out a couple weeks later for his birthday and fate or chance or whatever would bring us to a little bar that only would hold about 50 people max. It is there that I saw Scott, Seth, and Bob for the first time! They were as amazing then for 27 people as they are for 27,000 now. Anyway all my friends were requesting them to sing that song we played for our friend. Myself, knowing these guys were doing originals and not taking requests, was a little embarrased by it and in no way expecting them to even acknowledge. After the show my brother, his girlfriend, and myself were standing out back having a cigarette when this little Toyota pick up drove by. The truck stopped and Seth jumped out, grabbed his old 35 from the back and told us he loved that song and would love to play it for us. He played the song for us, made us all cry, put his guitar away and they rolled out. From that day on I have followed them all over the country and seen them a million times. Those guys are a class act and an oddity in the music industry today. They made fans for life that night and I have turned hundreds of people on to The Avett Brothers since

My wife was at the target in concord/kannapolis and funny enough Jim Avett asked her to help him find the irons!!! Apparently he was out running errands for the misses and after she helped him he gave my youngest daughter (pictured) a walnut with a quarter in it, he said he gives those out to all the grand kids and he also showed her pics of the boys and Bonnie! He was nice as can be she said!!! It was a fun experience for her and she asked for a picture and when he asked why she said because I wouldn't believe she met him!!! Hahahaha
